Australians Are Going Crazy Over Clare Bare Lingerie!

Oh Boy I could just SQUEE with delight! I don’t know about you but I get so tired of seeing the same lingerie every where, every season. In my 2009 Bra Survey (yikes time flies) we discovered that a whopping 87% of women wanted a variety of lingerie made available to them. While it has somewhat improved however we are still seeing the same lingerie everywhere.

Bra Queen has been rolling out a series of posts featuring Lingerie Designers that are exhibiting at the inaugural Designer Showcase in NYU next month. In doing so we are discovering all kinds of lingerie heaven, we have a variety of talented independent lingerie designers specialising in lingerie inspired by the old Hollywood and today we have the fashion forward, eco friendly, comfortable and ever so sexy Clare Bare.

Clare Bare is a Brooklyn based designer where of her pieces are made in house with the assistance of local creatives, using sustainable practices and natural and handmade dyes. The lingerie designs range everywhere in between fashion and function, and offer something for everyone. Soft cup bralettes, bodysuits, panties, and garter belts are created with a modern take on vintage styling. While being fashion forward Clare Bare prides itself on being eco-friendly lingerie made from organic cotton, bamboo jersey, and vintage fabric. Clare creates garments that are structured to flatter your body in a natural way without the use of constrictive hardware, and each piece is as comfortable as it is sexy.

Sustainability is the basis on which the Clare Bare brand was founded, and also serves as a key selling point. All aspects of production need to fulfill this notion through choice of fabrics and dyes, and production methods and facilities. It is important to maintain this design philosophy through the growth of the business.

Clare Bare is a collection of both lingerie and loungewear consisting of bras, panties, robes, garter belts, bodysuits and rompers, and tanks and tees. These pieces are offered in a range of sizes from XS-XL, and bespoke through the Clare Bare website.
