Bra Review Freya Active (Freya Sports Bra)

What is the best sports bra for larger cups, the sports bra for our bigger busted gals? Truth is there are very few to choose from, don't get me wrong there are more now then ever before. However the biggest mistake lingerie companies have made is jumping on the larger cup size bras band wagon without doing their research therefore the final result is usually disappointing. It is crucial when a lady who is a D to H+ Cup Sizes needs a great sports bras. So my latest review has been on Freya Lingerie's Underwire Sports Bra-

Freya Active

Cost- $89.95 in Australia (Lingerie Please has it for $42.52)

Lift- 9/10

Separation- 9/10

Quality- 9/10

Shape- 7/10

Material- 8/10

Appearance-7/10

Over All- 7/10

Bra Queen’s Comments- This bra fits well and you automatically know it's a well structured bra so it doesn't have the feeling of "I feel like I have nothing on" the base of the bra fits really snug so you know you're wearing it and you do feel supported in it however I don't find it a comfortable bra. Some people will and do LOVE the feeling of being held in therefore you will love this bra, the girls who like Panache Tango Bra will like Freya Active it has the same feeling. For the women who like to be supported but not restricted I would recommend the trying Freya's soft cup sports bra (non underwire). The bounce factor; you can do most high impact sports if you are a fast runner then you will have to put a crop top over the top of it. I found when I was running up to 8km per hour on the treadmill it was OK however when I ran faster I did feel pressure on my shoulders. Overall it is definitely one of the better sports bras on the market.

Sizes available 6 to 16 and Cup Sizes D to H

  • Sounds great! What is the movement underarms like? I have biggish(DD) boobies and do a lot of interval training which has me alternating betwixt 8km and 12km per hour. I have REALLY struggled to find a sports bra that will hold me in…

It does come quite high up under the arms actually Jacinta, I felt it and I must say I usually don’t have that problem. If you’re running that fast you’d still need to wear I crop top over the top.
