BRA FAQ: My Bra underwires always dig in under my arms?

This is such a common bra problem and most women think it’s a bra size issue and as a solution you go up a band size. However it has nothing to do with your bra size it is in fact you bra shape. You see most lingerie manufactures use the some bra pattern to make their bras that’s why it  happens a lot especially in Australia. Most bras on the Australian market are made with the bra cups too close together, leaving you with underwires digging in under your arms. The majority of women have wider set breasts hence the reason why it’s a common problem.

The solution

Look for bras that have a little distance in between the cups or try going down a back size and up a cup size. However where the cups are placed will determine if the bra shape is good for you. The images below will help.

See how the cups on this bra are really close together,

it's like wearing your shoes on the wrong feet.

This bra understands how the female form works, it understands

where breast are situated on the chest. See how there is slightly more

distance in between the breasts? That's why this bra has a better shape.

Make sense?
